Encarnacion-Strand entered the 2023 season as the fifth-best prospect in the Reds’ organization. By the end of the campaign, he was a regular starter for Cincinnati and a key part of a team that surprised the baseball world by pushing for a spot in the postseason. Although the team didn’t make the playoffs, Encarnacion-Strand is one of the many bright spots. In 63 appearances, Encarnacion-Strand batted .270 to go along with 13 homers.
