The race for the 2025/26 Premier League Golden Boot is on — and with it comes an exciting opportunity for collectors.
With the Topps Golden Boot Buyback Program, Topps and participating Hobby Shops will buy back eligible 2026 Topps Chrome Premier League cards featuring the season’s leading goal scorer — giving you store credit in exchange.
Here’s everything you need to know:
What Is The Golden Boot Buyback Program?
Topps and participating Hobby Shops are offering collectors the chance to redeem eligible 2026 Topps Chrome Premier League cards of the 2025/26 Golden Boot winner for store credit.
Once the Premier League season concludes and the leading goal scorer is officially determined, select cards from 2026 Topps Chrome Premier League will become eligible for buyback.
How It Works
1. Buy Topps Chrome PL
Pick up boxes of 2026 Topps Chrome Premier League and start collecting.
2. Collect Potential Golden Boot Winners
Collect the base cards and base parallels of the players you think could win the 2025/26 Golden Boot award.
3. Head To Your Local Hobby Shop
Once the Golden Boot winner is officially confirmed at the end of the season, bring your eligible cards to a participating Hobby Shop.
You can also mail your cards to one of Topps’ authorised mail-in partners.
4. Get Store Credit
Eligible cards can be redeemed for instant store credit at participating shops.
If using a mail-in partner, you’ll receive online credit with the associated retailer.
Please note: store credit only — not cash.
Which Cards Are Eligible?
After the 2025/26 Premier League season concludes and the leading goal scorer is confirmed, the following cards will be eligible:
- 2026 Topps Chrome Premier League base cards
- 2026 Topps Chrome Premier League base parallel cards
- Featuring the official 2025/26 Golden Boot winner
No other players’ cards will be eligible.
If two or more players finish tied for the highest number of goals scored, cards for all tied players will be eligible for redemption.
For a full list of eligible cards, collectors should refer to the official Topps Golden Boot Buyback Program page (link below).
How Much Store Credit Will You Receive?
The store credit value depends on the specific card.
For numbered cards:
- Cards numbered greater than /100 (such as /399, /299, /275, /199 or /150) will receive £75 in store credit
- Cards numbered /100 or less (such as /99, /75, /50, /25, /12, /10, /8, /5, /2 or /1) will receive £150 in store credit
All values are determined by the official buyback pricing table.
When Does The Program Run?
The Chrome Golden Boot Premier League Buyback Program will begin shortly after the season concludes.
It will run for approximately three months.
Participating shops should not accept buybacks prior to the official program start date. Exact dates will be confirmed once the Golden Boot winner is determined.

However:
- Cards must be in one piece
