“Our goal was to compliment all the Characters and have each design feel natural,” Eng explains, “as if they belonged and not out of place.” The team dodged the common pitfall of forcing characters into rigid templates, instead allowing each card to feel like an organic extension of the Toy Story universe. “The character art blends seamlessly within each design,” Eng added. “We consciously wanted to stay true to the realm they reside in.”
