\u201cTo me, that\u2019s what makes this special,\u201d Jeremy said. \u201cThe stars aligned. Same shop, same hobby \u2014 but now it\u2019s me and my son making that memory.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeremy grew up visiting SportsCards Plus with his own father, and decades later, it\u2019s still the hub where San Antonio collectors gather. Having Brett\u2019s once-in-a-lifetime hit come from the same shop gave the moment extra meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cWe wanted to make sure credit was given where we got the card,\u201d Jeremy explained. \u201cIt came from Charlie\u2019s store, and we wanted that connection remembered.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Even Charlie, who’s famously laid-back, kept his cool when seeing the card again. \u201cThat\u2019s cool,\u201d he reportedly said \u2014 a simple reaction that contrasted with the whirlwind the Sagrays felt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Comes Next<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Sagrays may ultimately part with the card \u2014 to help fund Brett\u2019s college, or to pass it on to a serious LeBron collector who can steward it long-term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
