The UCC Living Set returns for another season — and for the first time in five years, collectors can look forward to cards featuring some of the biggest legends in football history.
Each card in the Living Set is a hand-painted illustration by renowned artists Louise Cobbold or Stephen Gardner, capturing the game’s top rookies, current stars and iconic figures from UEFA Club Competitions. Each week, their incredible canvas artwork transforms into a classic trading card design, bringing football’s most memorable names to life.
The Living Set explained
Two new Living Set cards are released every Thursday, with artists alternating week-by-week. Each card is printed on an untreated card stock for a lovely retro feel and is available exclusively at Topps.com for a seven-day sales window. The Living Set is a product which does not break for each season, it launches EVERY week. This is a print on demand product, after ordering, cards will be shipped direct to your door.
Each player will only ever have one card, unless transferring to a new team. The set comprises of all UEFA Club competitions, UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA international tournaments. This is a set for the collectors!
Legends Are Back
From 18th September 2025, the Living Set will begin introducing illustrated cards of legendary players.
Each legend will appear on a date tied to a defining moment in their career — whether it’s a famous debut, a record-breaking goal, or an unforgettable UEFA Champions League performance.
This season’s legends include some of the most celebrated names in football: Ronaldinho, Ronaldo Nazário, Andrés Iniesta, Raúl, Zinédine Zidane, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Wayne Rooney, and many more.
The first two legends to launch are Zlatan Ibrahimović and Faustino Asprilla, whose cards go live on Thursday 18 September. Both players enjoyed dream UEFA Champions League debuts on this date — Ibrahimović scoring twice against Olympique Lyonnais, and Asprilla hitting a hat-trick against FC Barcelona. These releases mark the first Living Set legends since 2020.
Top Rookies for 2025/26
The Living Set isn’t just about history — it also captures the stars of the future. This season will feature rookie cards for some of the game’s most exciting young players, including Estêvão, Franco Mastantuano, Rio Ngumoha, Claudio Echeverri, Kendry Páez, and many more. Each will be illustrated in striking detail, giving collectors the chance to secure their earliest UEFA Club Competitions cards.
