What Is “Decades”?
Decades is a new exclusive series celebrating football’s past. Each competition-specific release is themed around a particular decade and features the greatest players, wackiest kits, and cult heroes that fans remember and love.
The card designs are tailored to the spirit of the era. For the 90’s Edition, Topps has dug deep into the archives, drawing inspiration from Teletext, early PC games, magazines, TV shows, Adidas adverts, and even dial-up internet.

The boot we all grew up wanting featuring the players we loved watching. We’ve taking inspiration and imagery from the official Adidas ad shoots and created these amazing cards featuring the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Gazza and Marcel Desailly.
TERRACE HEROES
The nineties were full of cult heroes and we’ve celebrated a selection of them here. Look out for the likes of Boban, Papin, Litmanen, Keane, Salas, Cafu, Sheringham, Suker, Lineker, Nedved and the ‘Romford Pele’ himself, Ray Parlour to name just a few.
PIONEERS
Highlighting the trail-blazing ballers of one of football’s most transformative decades. Look out Ronaldo, Pep, Van Basten, Maldini and Bergkamp amongst others.
MERCURIAL TALENTS
Every legend starts somewhere and we highlight their humble beginnings here. Henry for AS Monaco, Pirlo for Inter, Larsson for Feyenoord, Owen for Liverpool. This is where their journey began.

Featuring Ian Wright in the bruised banana JVC kit, Batigol in Fiorentina’s iconic 98/99 shirt, Kanchelskis in the black Manchester United away kit and Robbie Fowler rocking green and white for Liverpool FC. These cards are not to be missed.

TRIPLE THREAT
We have two amazing Triple Threat cards featuring iconic trios. First there is Baresi, Costacurta and Maldini from the incredible AC Milan team of the early 90’s. Second, we have Seedorf, Litmanen and Kluivert from Louis van Gaal’s legendary UEFA Champions League-winning AFC Ajax team.
PLANET FOOTBALL
The nineties are remembered for the off-the-pitch characters as much as the players. We highlight managers such as Sir Alex Ferguson, Kevin Keegan, Glenn Hoddle, Franz Beckenbauer amongst others. We’ve also featured commentators such as the voice of ITV, Clyde Tyldesley plus the likes of James Richardson, Bob Wilson and, of course, Jim Rosenthal. Finally look out for Pierluigi Collina cards featured the scariest ref in Europe. Planet Football autographs are available in lucky boxes as bonus signatures.
RETRO RELICS
Look out for retro matchworn shirt relics in lucky boxes featuring Rivaldo, Zola, Vieri, Totti, Kahn and Gazza to name a few.
