As you approach this installation, you’re stepping into one of the most familiar feelings in the hobby — the search for something just out of reach. This is the Viewfinder Grail Hunt, where collecting becomes a game of discovery.
Here, the question isn’t just what you can see — it’s what you can find.
The Meaning of a Grail
In collecting, a grail card is the one. The card that defines a chase, whether through rarity, legacy or personal significance. It might be a legend, a limited parallel, or something you’ve been searching for over time.
This installation brings that idea to life in a tactile, interactive way.
Using a retro, Kodak-style viewfinder, visitors are invited to look through a series of slides, revealing Zlatan Ibrahimović in collectible form. But not every slide is the same. Hidden among them are nine “holy grails” — rare finds that unlock prizes and reward those who keep searching.
It’s playful, nostalgic and instantly recognisable. Because at its core, collecting has always been about that moment — spotting something others might miss.
Chasing What Matters Most
What makes the grail concept so powerful is that it’s personal. For one collector, it might be a 1/1. For another, it’s a favourite player or a card tied to a specific memory.
This installation taps into that mindset. The act of looking, scanning and discovering mirrors the way collectors approach packs, sets and collections — always searching, always hoping the next reveal is the one.
In the 2025/26 Topps Chrome UEFA Club Competitions collection, that sense of pursuit runs throughout, with standout cards, rare parallels and iconic names offering collectors their own version of a grail.
