Topps Now

Topps Now features photography from each moment and is available very soon after the event, capturing a snapshot in time as the sporting history unfolds. Your heroes, your moments, your cards!

Here’s what to look out for in summer ‘24…

Football

Summer Tours have been a growing fixture in football club’s calendars for a number of years now, becoming an integral part of the pre-season schedule. As clubs travel to sunnier climes to prep for the new season, you can expect debuts from the latest transfers, academy players getting game-time, and different opposition to those faced in the regular season. A great example of this was Arsenal’s ’23 tour of the US which culminated in a thrilling match vs MLS Allstars, including a debut and first goal for Kai Havertz. Through our partnerships with clubs, Topps also get access to exclusive behind-the-scenes photography, so look out for exclusive training shots and off-field fun. New Signings will be also be featured for Topps NOW as we follow all the action from the Summer Transfer window, capturing the signings as they happen. In many cases this will be the first opportunity to collector players in new kit, with their new club which could make it a valuable card in years to come.

Team GB at the Olympics

Topps are proud to be supporting Team GB as they give it their all at the 2024 Paris Olympics. For Topps NOW we’ll be following all of the medal hopefuls and celebrating records and milestones as they unfold. Look out for global icons like Andy Murray, Tommy Fleetwood and Katie Boulter, plus stalwarts of the squad with Max Whitlock, KJT and Adam Peatey, plus young stars and medal hopefuls like Keeley Hodgkinson and Team GB’s youngest ever Olympian, Sky Brown.

Cricket

Fresh off the back of England’s victory over the West Indies, we turn our cricket focus to The100, as stars of the game gather to play in ECB’s summer extravaganza. Women’s and Men’s teams will be battling it out across the country to see who can take the trophy and be crowned the best in the 100-ball format. Look out for top players and big-hitters such as Ben Stokes, Ravi Bopara, Alyssa Healy, Dane van Niekerk, Jofra Archer, Joe Root, Nat Scriver and Jonny Bairstow.

Formula 1

At the mid-season point of the ’24 season we have one of the most open competitions in recent history. Following a strong start from Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, McLaren are now in the ascendancy, with  Ferrari consistently in the points and Hamilton back on the podium. The second half of the season is sure to be full of awesome racing. Will 2024 be the year we see a new World Champion? Follow all the F1 action with Topps NOW.

Topps NOW cards are available to purchase as single cards or in bundles. Cards are on sale for a limited time which you can see from the timer on each product page. After the timer expires Topps will publish a ‘print run’ to show how many cards have been made. This will have an influence on the future trading value. Once purchased, cards will be printed and shipped directly to your door.

Look out for ‘parallel’ versions of the cards which will be shipped at random to lucky customers. These will have a different colour background and will be numbered. The numbering will show how rare your parallel version is. When it comes to trading the rarer the better, so low numbered parallels are the most sought after! You can find out which cards will have parallels to chase by looking at the ‘description’ on each Topps Now product page.

UCC Living Set

UEFA Club Competitions returns following a break for the UEFA Euro competition. These beautifully illustrated, retro-style cards are part of an ever-increasing collection which stretches back to 2019. It’s not too late to start collecting with global superstars like Mbappe entering the set for the first time in July as Real Madrid C.F. player. Three cards are launched every Thursday and will feature top talent and rookies from UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League and Women’s Champions League. Cards are printed on demand and shipped to your door in a Living Set envelope and plastic ‘slider’ case.

Collections and Box sets

As well as single print on demand cards like Topps Now and Living set you can also find exclusive collections available at Topps.com this summer.

UCC Inception

*Card from 2022-23 Collection

A collector’s favourite for its unreal content, beautiful designs and exquisite printing, the latest instalment of UEFA Inception will not disappoint!
Football hobbyists can look forward to familiar themes like ‘First XI’, ‘Legacy’, and ‘Star quality’, plus new all-new subsets still to be announced. Inception continues to be stacked with incredible chase cards including short-print autographs, dual autograph, quad book autographs, match-worn relics and on-card autographs. Releasing in early August, follow Topps social channels for more information.

Team GB, Stars of Paris

*Cards from our first Team GB set, released in February 2024

Following last year’s sell-out release, our second collection for Team GB athletics focuses on the 2024 team at the Paris Olympics. Look out for a checklist packed with rookies, emerging talents and heroes in the making. Releasing in August.

Luke Littler, Rookie Season

Topps are incredibly excited to release our first ever darts trading card set. This limited-run collection will feature teenage sensation Luke Littler, fresh from his incredible rookie season. This high-spec collection will include flight relics, shirt relics and one guaranteed on-card autograph per box.

The Hundred – Tournament collection

Back for another season, The100 set features the best cricketers from this year’s summer tournament. With a packed checklist, 2 parallels per box, +25 signees and an autograph now guaranteed in every box, this set promises to knock cricket collectors for six! Launching mid-August.

Online exclusive sets are often sold as ‘print on demand’. This means there is a sales window with a countdown timer where Topps collate the orders, we’ll then print the set and ship direct to you within 28 business days. One FAQ we see is – if it’s print on demand how can it sell out? If we are including a numbered card guarantee with parallels up to say, 99 for each subject, we cannot print beyond that number so there is an upper limit on how many boxes we can make.

With football, cricket, darts, athletics and Formula1 all featuring on Topps.com over the next six weeks it promises to be an amazing summer of collecting and trading at Topps.com – THE destination for every sports fan!
