With the release of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens in 2015, a new trilogy began, bringing many new faces to the Star Wars galaxy. The Star Wars sequel trilogy also brought back familiar faces from the original trilogy, both good and evil. If you’re looking for more hero cards to add to your Topps Star Wars collection, these are a great place to start.

2023 Topps Star Wars Chrome First Appearance #FA-12 Rey Green /99  

Rey’s card from the First Appearances series shows her bundled up in her scavenger garb and goggles, exploring the wreckage of an old Imperial Star Destroyer for salvageable parts. Under the mask, she could be anybody—a tease of the later twists concerning her identity.

2023 Chrome Star Wars First Appearances #FA-14 Poe Dameron Gold /50

This First Appearances card shows Resistance agent Poe Dameron ready for battle against the First Order on Jakku. The text on the back discusses the loyal Lor San Tekka and the Church of the Force, glimpsed at the start of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens but left unexplained in the film itself. The gold border here is just the icing on the cake of a perfect collector’s item.

2017 Topps Star Wars: The Last Jedi #A-LD Laura Dern Auto 1/1

Laura Dern’s Vice Admiral Holdo shocked the galaxy in Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi when she sent her cruiser straight through the pursuing First Order fleet, shattering it. What came to be known as the Holdo Maneuver joined the legends of Star Wars, and Laura Dern joined the ranks of Topps with this beautiful autographed collector’s piece.

2022 Topps Chrome Star Wars Galaxy #87 Finn X-Fractor /10 

This 2022 card from the Topps Star Wars Galaxy series features stylized art of Finn just before his defection from the First Order. Though he’s still wearing his Stormtrooper armor here, the back of the card details his long journey to becoming a Resistance hero.
