On September 7th and 8th, 2024, Topps will be hosting a free event to celebrate the release of 2024 Topps Chrome Tennis and the finals of the US Open in New York’s beautiful Seaport. Topps Aces & Cases event is a match-day mixer where fans can enjoy two of the biggest days on the tennis calendar.

“We wanted to create a destination for fans and collectors to mark this moment in the season,” said Experiential Marketing Director Gillian Gross-Lebo. “The big driver, of course, is to get cards in the hands of tennis fans and celebrate our new tennis offering. And give fans an event to enjoy on days where getting tickets for the matches themselves can be hard.” Free cards will be handed out at the event and across the Seaport.

In addition, Aces & Cases will offer an interactive Make Your Own Card booth, where fans can use tennis props against a backdrop to build a personalized tennis card. “Fans can bring their own flair to the cards, which we will print out on the spot so they can walk away with the card right then and there,” said Gross-Lebo. There will also be live breaks, led by Filthbomb Breaks, where attendees can sign up to take part. “It’s a fun way to get fans involved, to hang out with Topps, and live breaks are always a great educational tool for collectors at any level.”

Food and beverages will be available for purchase, as well as tennis-themed cocktails. “This is the first tennis activation in Topps history,” said Gross-Lebo. “And we’re sure it will be the first of many! We want to make it a staple of tennis in New York City.”

The event runs from 11 AM to 7 PM on Saturday, September 7, and 1 PM to 6 PM on Sunday, September 8.
