Top Dan Marino Cards to Collect
As the decade flipped and the NFL entered the 1980s, no one was prepared for Dan Marino. Yes, the league saw the sea change coming: offenses became more balanced, and passers became more lethal – but Marino was head and shoulders above anyone in the league at the time and anyone who had ever come before. He was the Peyton Manning of his era. He was the Drew Brees of his era. Heck, he was the Tom Brady of his era. Before they even started playing high school ball, he was all of these players.
Simply put, Dan Marino was the most outstanding passer of his era and one of the greatest passers ever. He’s held every meaningful passing record until Manning, Brady, Brees, and Mahomes broke them, and he still holds a handful of impressive entries into the record book. His prolific passing and ability to stay on the field and play consistently great cannot be understated. The only thing missing from his resume? A Lombardi Trophy.
That doesn’t mean this quarterback icon doesn’t have some great cards to collect from his 17-season career. These are just a few that you need to collect.
