Before Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, and Calvin Johnson, before there was indeed even the concept of a dominant wide receiver, there was Steve Largent. Drafted by Seattle in the fourth round of the 1976 draft, Largent would defy all expectations and catch everything thrown his way for the better part of a decade. He was such a consistent and reliable receiver and so constantly in the zone that his teammates called him “Yoda.”

Upon his retirement, he held every major receiving record in the league. To put it in perspective, these were all records that Jerry Rice would have to break, including the most seasons with 50 or more receptions (10) and most seasons with 1,000 yards or more (eight).

And, he dominated during an era when Topps was crafting some of the most iconic cards in football history. These are just a few that you need to seek out and collect.
