Chef Curry Cards Keep Cooking
Few athletes in the 21st century can compete with the popularity, legacy, and influence of Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. From his Cinderella run in March Madness with Davidson, to becoming the sun around which basketball’s most recent dynasty orbited, to a level of outside shooting that changed the entire game as we know it, the four-time NBA Champion and two-time NBA MVP is nothing short of a living legend.
On the floor and in The Hobby, Curry’s gravity is undeniable. With the recent release of 2025-26 Topps Basketball, it’s a great time to look at some of Steph’s Hobby highlights.
Steph Curry’s incredible career and game-changing three-point shooting have made him a legend both on the court and in The Hobby. That career has been charted through Topps Basketball releases, from his 2009-10 rookie cards to Topps NOW offerings and 2025-26 Topps Basketball.

A Curry Grail
Stephen Curry headed into the 2009 NBA Draft as one of the most intriguing prospects available. A phenomenal college career gave scouts and fans a glimpse at his unbelievable potential as a playmaker, scorer, and above all, a shooter.
Obviously, if given the chance at a do-over, Curry would be selected at the top of the draft. In the moment, though, he ended up going seventh overall — a blessing in disguise as the point guard headed to the Bay Area.
Curry’s 2009-10 Topps rookie cards are among the most important and valuable in the modern Hobby. His 2009-10 Topps Chrome Basketball RC is his most valuable Topps card of all-time, with the Gold Refractor version, numbered to 50, selling for as much as $575,000 in February 2022. On 28 separate occasions (including Gold Refractor and Refractor versions), Curry’s Chrome RC has sold for over $100,000.

At writing, the Gold Refractor has a PSA population of only two PSA 10 and four PSA 9. The Refractor itself has a PSA population of 29 PSA 10 and 40 PSA 9.
Curry’s 2009-10 Topps Basketball RC is another major chase card for collectors. The Black version numbered to 50 sold for $90,000 on September 25, 2025 through Fanatics Collect. Both RC’s feature the same player image of a smiling Curry. The base version of the Topps Basketball RC has a PSA population of 371 PSA 10 and 1,567 PSA 9.
The Power of NOW
Today, Steph Curry is a multi-time NBA Champion and MVP and has amassed a slew of ridiculous shooting records in a career spanning more than a decade and a half. In 2024, Curry put another feather in his cap, pushing the U.S. Olympic Men’s Basketball Team over the top with a pair of spectacular performances in the semi-final and Gold Medal games. Topps NOW® captured Curry’s star turn with some highly coveted offerings.

At the top of the list, there’s this iconic card showing Curry pulling out his trademark ‘night-night’ celebration after hitting a dagger three against France to put the Gold Medal game to bed.
This Gold Auto 1-of-1 version of the card, which reached a print run of almost 90,000, sold for $518,500 on June 14, 2025.

Another huge Curry chase card from Topps NOW is this phenomenal triple card uniting Curry with fellow generational talents LeBron James and Kevin Durant. A Gold 1-of-1 version of the card sold for almost $60,000 in September, 2024.

In addition to his exploits at the Olympics, Topps NOW has captured some of Curry’s incredible career accomplishments as well. This card, celebrating the star becoming the first player in NBA history to make 4,000 career three-point shots, delivered a print run of almost 75,000.
Curry Takes 2025-26
Today, Steph Curry remains one of the best players in the world and a major force in The Hobby. Unsurprisingly, he’s one of the hottest chases in the recently released 2025-26 Topps Basketball set. Curry can be found throughout the set, from base cards to chase-worthy parallels, variations, inserts, autos, and relic cards.

Case-hit insert Home Court is a phenomenal option for Curry fans looking to catch a taste of the 11-time All-Star’s time in the Bay Area. Looking for home cooking? Don’t fret, the card comes complete with the Golden Gate Bridge and Chef Curry’s hat.

One of the Kings of the modern NBA, Curry’s addition in the long-popular All Kings insert was inevitable. The chase card has already proven to be highly coveted in the days since the release of the newest Topps Basketball set.
