The Year’s Biggest Pulls
There were some amazing cards pulled from Topps products in 2024. Superfractors, low-numbered gems, cut autos, relics, you name it. They include unique cards of baseball superstars Shohei Ohtani, Paul Skenes, Jackson Chourio, Babe Ruth, and many more. A few LeBron James cards and a rare Lionel Messi card were also considered.
There are three monster cards that haven’t surfaced—and the anticipation is killing us. These cards include: the Olympic gold medal Superfractor card that has autographs of Steph Curry, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant; Skenes’ 1-of-1 Rookie Debut Patch Auto; and Tom Brady’s 2023 Bowman Draft numbered 12-of-50 with an auto and inscription. As we wait for those cards to see the light of day, we concentrate on the cards that have been pulled.

Shohei Ohtani 50/50 2024 MLB TOPPS NOW® Card 722 Club Gold Parallel Auto 1/1
This was a no-brainer pick for one of the top pulls of the year. Ontario native Alex Housego was in shock when he hit this stunning card. There were 653,737 Topps NOW® copies sold of this card, and Housego was the lucky recipient of the autographed gold parallel 1/1. Ohtani signed the card with the inscription: “50/50 CLUB 9/19/24.”
2024 Topps Chrome Update Series #USC27 Paul Skenes Superfractor Auto 1/1
One of the top Paul Skenes rookie cards—right up there with his Rookie Debut Patch Auto—was hit at the end of November. There aren’t too many baseball cards more coveted this past year than the 2024 Topps Chrome Superfractor Auto. The Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher even ripped some packs to try and pull this monster card. However, he was unsuccessful.
2023-24 Topps Mercury: Victor Wembanyama Dual Auto #VM-LJ Victor Wembanyama/LeBron James Red /5
What a great card that combines the future of the NBA (Wembanyama) with perhaps the game’s best player in the last 20 years (James). The dual auto of these two former Rookies of the Year really pops in blue ink. These two guys were destined to be on a legendary card together.
2024 Topps Chrome Update Series MLB Rookie Debut Patch Auto #RDPA-JCH Jackson Chourio
There are so many great Rookie Debut Patch Auto cards in this year’s 2024 Topps Chrome Update. Jackson Chourio is one of those guys. The Milwaukee Brewers center fielder had his RDPA card pulled a couple of weeks after release day.

Anyone collecting baseball cards is going to be thrilled to pull any Babe Ruth card. When it’s a cut autograph that includes a relic, that really ups the coolness factor. This 1-of-1 2023 Topps Luminaries Cut Signature Relic is a true gem.
