The Year’s Best on Fanatics Live
2024 was an incredible year for Fanatics Live. With celebrity pack fights, amazing and heartwarming moments between athletes and fans, and some legendary breaks, this year was a fantastic time to be live with Fanatics. Pack Fight – Dana White vs. Michael Rubin
There was no chance that UFC President Dana White going toe-to-toe with Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin in a massive pack fight to celebrate the release of Topps UFC Midnight wasn’t making the list. It was a special year for Topps and UFC, showcased by the two big dogs battling for the best of the set. Watching Dana deal with Michael pulling a 1/5 Bo Nickal was a particularly fun moment.
Topps Definitive Babe Ruth x Ohtani 1/1 Dual Auto pulled by WeTheHobby
You don’t have to use too much imagination to figure out what this moment looked like. With a card this special, how else could you see yourself reacting? Watching WeTheHobby realize what was pulled and the unbridled shock and joy is what ripping is all about. The enormity of the moment was there for all to see, pulling a Dual Auto featuring the modern-day Babe Ruth and, well, Babe Ruth.
Topps Composite Football Tom Brady 1/1 Superfractor Auto Pulled by Filthbomb Breaks
Filthbomb Breaks brought it with phenomenal showmanship, creating amazing content and capturing an incredible moment: realizing they had pulled a Brady 1-of-1 Superfractor led to the sounding of the alarm.
Topps Transcendent Beatles Quad Cut Auto pulled by LaytonSportsCards
We can all understand when a big pull leads to an outpouring of noise, chaos, and pandemonium, but watching this moment from LaytonSportsCards is magical. Pulling this Topps Transcendent Beatles Quad Cut Auto was a unique, overwhelming moment, as the reality of the importance of what had just been pulled came into focus. This pull’s feeling of awe and reverence makes it one of the most endearing of the year.
Cory Rhodes Gives Fan Dream Moment at Fanatics Fest 2024
It might be cliche, but when you see a moment like this, there’s no other way of putting it: this is what it’s all about. During the WWE Live Auction event at NYC’s 2024 Fanatics Fest, Cody Rhodes asks the crowd who wants a WWE belt before being informed he can’t just give it away – then, he does it anyway. Finding a young WWE superfan in the crowd, Rhodes brings the youngster up, and the crowd goes wild. It was a beautiful moment this fan will never forget.
