Goldin 100 Lands in Cleveland
Riding high from the success of Season 2 of the Netflix series King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch, Ken Goldin and his staff at Goldin will display another impressive gallery at this year’s National.
The Goldin 100: Part II launches on July 22 and ends on August 17. Of the 54 items in the auction, all but one will be delivered to Cleveland.
Perhaps the most jaw-dropping piece is Michael Jordan’s college application to North Carolina and acceptance letter. It’s one of the earliest known signatures for Jordan.

“It’s a pretty incredible item,” said Noah Scheinmann, head of content and marketing at Goldin. “It’s kind of like the letter that started it all for this guy.”
With a letter of authenticity from Beckett, the three-page document features Jordan’s signature. The staff at Goldin refers to the item as the “Signature that forever changed the world.”
“It’s such a great National item,” Scheinmann said. “To come and see these unique things, especially with families there, it’s those items that you don’t usually get to see in person.”
Two other big items from the Goldin 100 that will be on display are a Kobe Bryant 2003 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Ultimate Signature card and Clyde Drexler’s gold medal from the 1992 Olympics when he played on the “Dream Team” men’s basketball team. The Goldin 100 runs until mid-August.
“It’s a good range of unique items,” Scheinmann said.
Also, at Goldin’s corporate booth, King of Collectibles will be shown continuously on two large monitors. Show attendees will have the opportunity to meet the cast.
With eBay’s acquisition of Goldin in April, the two companies will partner during the show. They will run three eBay Lives, featuring star athletes such as Reggie Jackson and Floyd Mayweather.
