Jason Kidd wasted no time. Picked second overall in the 1994 NBA draft, Kidd led Dallas to a 23-win improvement in his first season at point guard as a pro, sharing Rookie of the Year honors with Grant Hill. For an encore, he was named an All-Star starter in only his second season in the league.
Jason Kidd wasted no talent. A prototypical floor general, whose range of passing ranks among the best to ever take to the hardwood, he dominated on both ends of the floor during his time in New Jersey. When it was all said and done, Kidd left the league with 107 triple doubles, sixth-most of all-time, with 11 in the postseason.
