On Saturday, February 21, The Hobby goes full volume. 2026 Topps Rip Night will see Hobby shops around the world running events, deals, giveaways, and of course, ripping packs and trading cards.
Topps Rip Night has become The Hobby’s biggest night, and with the global party only days away, we’re highlighting some amazing Hobby shops that are joining in the celebration, to give collectors a taste of what to expect at 2026 Topps Rip Night.

On Saturday, February 21, collectors are in store for The Biggest Night in The Hobby with 2026 Topps Rip Night. From deals and giveaways to pack wars, trade nights, and plenty of ripping, Rip Night is built around one thing: community. Shops everywhere put their own spin on the event, with collector parties, multi-store crawls, promos, raffles, food, and special guests. Continental Cards: Ashburn, VA
How It All Began: “Continental Cards started as a breaking channel in 2022, and we opened our brick-and-mortar location in July of 2024. We began on TikTok, breaking and shipping to collectors, and that hands-on, collector-first mindset is still what defines us.”
What Continental Cards Does: “Our standout is our staff. We have a team of associates and managers who specialize in either sports cards or TCG, with decades of experience in The Hobby. We take pride in helping customers learn, grow their PCs, chase their grails, and enjoy the process. Favorite Topps product? Flagship Topps Chrome, all day.”
What to Expect at 2026 Topps Rip Night: “This is our first official Topps Rip Night, so we’re turning it into a full-on collector party. Expect food and drinks, giveaways, promo packs, and bounties running throughout the night. Plus, our breakers plan to run live breaks during the event so collectors can get in on the action together. A SoCal Card Shop Crawl: “Last year at Honey Hole, we ran a poker run where our customers picked up a poker chip at each one of our stores and received a special gift at our third and final store destination if they had all three poker chips. We threw a big party at the last store with vendors and everyone had a blast. This brings us to what we’re doing this year.
“I went on a coffee crawl with my daughter in San Diego about a month ago and loved seeing all the different coffee shops and the different spins on how they did their thing. The light bulb came on. I love sports cards and seeing different shops, so how cool it would be to do a card shop crawl? We also loved the idea of a collab with two other shops, and after chatting with Alex (SD Cards) and Jake (Ross Cards), everyone was in.”
How the Crawl Works: “Collectors get a taste of six different shops, giveaways, food, and fun along the entire route at each stop — and a big party at the end of the crawl at the final destination, which is the Honey Hole in Mission Valley. This shop features a full-size dugout, and we will have pack wars, giveaways, raffles, food, trading, and tons of fun.
“Each person that completes the crawl to all six stores will receive one free Hobby Box per party, and a commemorative snapback hat for the event.”
The Story of Honey Hole: “Honey Hole Collectibles started in 2020 when two lifelong collectors, Bobby & Chris, took the leap and purchased their first shop in Escondido, CA. They had a vision of what the modern card shop would look like and a desire to create the ultimate collector paradise. From there, they never looked back, quickly building three card shops in Escondido, Temecula, Mission Valley, California, with a fourth shop opening in March in San Diego across from Petco Park. The journey has been nothing less than a dream, and the vision of the ultimate collector experience continues to evolve.
The Story of Ross Cards: “We opened our first brick and mortar storefront in June 2021. We have a really nice welcoming shop with lots of product from a variety of years, from high to low end. We have a ton of athletes that come in and rip boxes. We’re open seven days a week and we’re only one mile from the Pacific Ocean! We’ve been in The Hobby collecting cards and ripping packs since 1991.
Ross Cards on Rip Night: “This night is for our customers! We are planning lots of giveaways and door prizes. We will have pack battles and we will be ripping Series 1 Baseball. It will be crowded, lots of people to meet, collectors to trade with, and plenty of packs to rip. Bring your collection to show off and even trade. Come early and get door prizes. We’re very excited for the crawl and helping people complete the run!”

The Story of The Shop: “We are a historic shop based in Milan, and since 1999 we have been dedicated to the world of collecting. We started by offering a wide range of collectible products, eventually specializing in Trading Card Games. Four years ago, we entered the world of sports trading cards — among the first to truly invest in this segment in Italy — and today we are proud to operate one of the largest physical stores in the country dedicated to sports collectibles.”

A Topps Rip Night Collab: “The event will be hosted at Hoop Lab — (55 Lumber Rd, Roslyn, NY) — a premier basketball training academy on Long Island known for its elite-level programming and facilities, by 528 Collectibles and Major Sports Cards.

Major Sports Cards’ Origin Story: “We opened 2022 in Mineola, New York, with a mission to provide collectors with a trusted, customer-focused destination for sports cards and trading card games. Major Sports Cards was founded by Anthony Perna, who started collecting at a young age with his father. Richard (Anthony’s Father) would take him to the local store once a week to get a few packs of cards, and they would sit together, open them, and put them all in a binder, which Anthony still has to this day!”
