UFC Main Event Buyback FAQs
- What cards will be eligible for the UFC Main Event buyback offer?
- UFC 300 will take place on April 13, 2024, and feature a main event fight between Jamahal Hill and Alex Pereira (the “Main Event”). Following the conclusion of the Main Event, the 2024 Topps Chrome UFC base cards and any base parallels of the winner of the Main Event will be eligible for the buyback program. For a full list of the eligible cards, please see the table above. Images of the eligible cards will also be provided on the website upon program start.
- When will the buyback program start?
- The 2024 Topps Chrome UFC program will begin right after the conclusion of the Main Event on April 13, 2024, and continue until June 30, 2024. Shops should not accept Topps Chrome UFC buyback trade-ins prior to the official program start date. This page will update with more details once the winner of the Main Event is announced.
- When does the buyback program end?
- The 2024 Topps Chrome UFC Main Event MVP Program ends on June 30, 2024.
- Where can I buy 2024 Topps Chrome UFC cards?
- You can purchase 2024 Topps Chrome UFC at select retailers like Target and Walmart, your local hobby store, or basically anywhere that cards are sold. If you want to visit a Topps Authorized hobby shop, use our store locator here.
- Does the buyback offer only apply to 2024 Topps Chrome UFC cards?
- The Topps Chrome UFC Buyback Offer only applies to 2024 Topps Chrome UFC products.
- What if the Main Event ends in a draw (i.e., no winner)?
- If the Main Event ends in a draw and no winner is determined, then Topps will buy back the card featuring the winner of the contender fight between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway.
- What if either fighter drops out of the Main Event?
- In the event that either Jamahal Hill or Alex Pereira drops out of the Main Event prior to the match and the replacement fighter(s) have eligible cards in Topps Chrome UFC, Topps will buy back the cards of the winner of the new Main Event. If the new fighter(s) are not in Topps Chrome UFC, Topps will buy back the card featuring the winner of the contender fight between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway.
- Will any other fighters’ cards be eligible for the buyback program?
- No, only the select cards determined by Topps will be eligible for buyback.
- What will I receive in exchange for my cards? Can I get cash?
- When you bring your cards into your hobby shop, you will receive store credit in exchange—not cash. The amount of store credit is determined by the pricing table above.
- How do I determine the buyback value of my numbered cards?
- All Main Event winner base cards will receive $20 in buyback value. All non-numbered refractors will receive $40. Base parallel cards that are numbered greater than /100 will receive $100 in credit. All base parallel numbered cards less than /100 will fetch $200 in credit.
- For buybacks that occur in Canada, all Main Event winner cards will receive the applicable amounts set forth above on a converted to Canadian Dollars basis, based on the United States Dollar to Canadian Dollar exchange rate as of April 13, 2024, as determined by Topps in its sole discretion.
- Can I redeem my cards if I don’t live near a participating hobby shop?
- Yes, you can. Topps is working with authorized mail-in partners who will be accepting mailed-in eligible cards for in-store or online credit. More details will be provided at a later date.
- I run a hobby shop and want to participate – how can I?
- If you are a hobby shop in the US or Canada and would like to participate, please reach out to ToppsBuyback@fanatics.com for more information.
- Is there a limit to the number of cards I can redeem for store credit?
- While there isn’t an official limit, each hobby shop will have the discretion to cap the number of cards they buy back.
- Do the cards have to be in mint condition?
- Cards do not need to be in mint condition. Ripped or altered cards will not be accepted for the buyback program, but as long as your card is in one piece, it will be eligible.
- Do I have to make a purchase to participate in the buyback program?
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. For a chance to obtain a redeemable card, while supplies last, hand print your name and complete address on a 3 x 5 card and mail in a #10 envelope to: 2024 Topps Chrome UFC Buyback Offer, P.O. BOX 852168, MESQUITE, TX 75185. Only one card per envelope, mailed separately, postmarked by May 1, 2024, and received by May 10, 2024. No metered mail. Limit 1 request per household for 2024 Topps Chrome UFC Buyback Offer. Approximate odds of receiving a redeemable card: [1:75]. Failure to comply with the foregoing will result in disqualification of all entries received from a single household, in Topps’ sole discretion. Drawings on or about June 1, 2024. Potential Canadian] winners will be required to first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question. Include on your 3 x 5 card the answer to the following skill-test question: 42 X 2 + 3 – 19 = ? The UFC and their affiliates are not responsible for this promotion.
