The Star Wars prequel trilogy gave us many great villains, from General Grievous to the sinister Darth Maul. These prequel villain cards are perfect for collectors to watch out for.

2023 Topps Finest Star Wars #FW-13 DARTH MAUL Superfractor 1/1

Of all the villains introduced in the Star Wars prequels, Darth Maul may still be the most beloved by fans. His striking appearance and double-bladed lightsaber remain iconic, and they’re rendered perfectly on this superfractor in 2023 Topps Finest Star Wars. A true collector’s item, this card tells Maul’s whole story on the back, and the front design stands out anywhere.

2001 Topps Star Wars Evolution Ian McDiarmid as Senator Palpatine B Auto

Ian McDiarmid had already captured the attention of Star Wars fans after playing the Emperor in Star Wars: Episode IV – Return of the Jedi. But in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, he explored his sinister character much more fully, earning this classic autographed Palpatine card that’s a perfect addition to any collection.

2005 Topps Star Wars Revenge of the Sith #2 Darth Vader

Anakin Skywalker only wears the Darth Vader armor for a brief scene at the end of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, but that didn’t stop him from landing the number two card in Topps’ 2005 set. This Vader card comes right after Anakin’s light-side incarnation in the set, and it shows the newly minted Sith Lord in a distinctive pose, holding his red lightsaber pointed down as if delivering a killing blow.

Topps Star Wars Living Setâ„¢ Card #70 Count Dooku

This Dooku card bears the composed count’s animated countenance as seen in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” but the Living Set design evokes the earliest days of Topps Star Wars. The card balances old and new to great effect and is ideal for anyone building out their Living Set roster.
